Retail space in Blauer Hecht building fully let.

As part of the extensive revitalisation programme of S IMMO AG’s portfolio in Germany, the famous Blauer Hecht building and shopping passage on Nikolaistraße in Leipzig underwent an general renovation. Numerous aspects of this office and commercial building were improved and modernised to make it more attractive for prospective tenants.

A bubble tea café will be opening in the new, high-quality rental space in the coming weeks. Bubble tea is a hot beverage from Taiwan that is prepared like a milk shake by mixing a sweetened green or black tea base with milk and fruit syrup. It also contains small coloured balls made of tapioca starch. The beverage is increasing in popularity around the world, and many new cafés are being opened throughout Germany.

The lease was arranged by KIENE Property Consult GmbH as the representative of the owner, in collaboration with the agency SCHMID Real Estate. Daniel Kaboth, managing director of S IMMO Germany, is enthusiastic: “This bubble tea café has filled the last available retail space in the Blauer Hecht. We are excited about our new tenant and the exotic speciality that it is adding to Leipzig’s culinary scene.”
