S IMMO AG collaborates with the Vienna Kunstsupermarkt for the seventh time
Original works of art at low prices from 17 October 2013 until 20 January 2014
On 17 October 2013, the Vienna Kunstsupermarkt art sales project will open its doors for the seventh time at Mariahilfer Strasse 103, a building owned by S IMMO AG. Under the motto, “Making art affordable for all”, the Kunstsupermarkt offers original works of art at low prices.
S IMMO AG: a long-standing partner
The stock exchange listed S IMMO AG is providing the space for the Kunstsupermarkt in Vienna’s sixth district. Management Board member Friedrich Wachernig comments: “Long-term collaborations are important to us not only in our daily business but also in our work with the organisations we support. We are proud to be able to provide a home for the Kunstsupermarkt for the seventh year in a row in 2013 with our space at Mariahilfer Strasse 103.”
Focus on emerging artists
The space on Mariahilfer Strasse welcomed over 30,000 art enthusiasts last year. This year, visitors will once again have the opportunity to view and purchase more than 5,000 original pieces by Austrian and international artists for a period of about three months. The focus of the exhibition is on young artists at the start of their careers, so-called emerging artists. The range of artworks includes everything from drawings and watercolours to acrylic and oil paintings to photo art and even sculptures. All of the works are one of a kind, and the prices range from EUR 50 to EUR 299.
