S IMMO AG collaborates with the Vienna Kunstsupermarkt for the eighth time
Biggest event for contemporary art in Austria, with over 5,000 works by 90 Austrian and international artists
On 05 November 2014, the Vienna Kunstsupermarkt art sales project will open its doors at Mariahilfer Strasse 103, a building owned by S IMMO AG. Under the motto, “Art brings happiness”, the initiative will offer original works of art at low prices for the eighth year in a row.
S IMMO AG a long-standing partner
Stock exchange listed S IMMO AG is providing the space for the Kunstsupermarkt as part of its CSR programme. Management Board member Friedrich Wachernig had the following comment: “Long-term partnerships are important to us not only in our daily business but also with the organisations we support. We are proud to be able to provide a home for the Kunstsupermarkt once again in 2014.”
Original works of art at affordable prices
With over 30,000 visitors, the Kunstsupermarkt has become the largest event for contemporary art in Austria. The number of exhibitors at this year’s event may set a new record as well: 90 artists from 12 countries are represented with over 5,000 works. Established artists and young talents will present drawings, acrylic and oil paintings, watercolours, and photographs. For the first time, this year’s event will feature artists who create one-of-a-kind pieces using wood, fabric, plastic, and metal. The majority of the works are offered at prices ranging from EUR 59 to EUR 330.
