Since the beginning of the year, S IMMO AG has already purchased four commercial properties in Germany with a usable space of roughly 35,000 m². These first acquisitions are part of a portfolio expansion offensive that the company is planning. The investments will primarily focus on commercially used properties including development potential, further construction reserves or the possibility of conversion into residential use in the greater Berlin area.
“In recent years, we achieved very impressive successes with the revitalisation of properties in Berlin. This encouraged us to continue investing in the city’s booming real estate market, with a clear focus on commercial properties”, explains Ernst Vejdovszky, chairman of S IMMO AG’s Management Board.
