"Investor of the Year" at the SEE Real Estate Awards

S IMMO came out on top among respected investors from throughout the region during the online event held for the 16th SEE Real Estate Awards on 07 and 08 April and was the winner in the category Investor of the Year. This distinction especially recognised the successful acquisitions of the Zagrebtower in the Croatian capital and the Campus 6.2 and 6.3 office buildings in Bucharest last year (the transfer of the Campus buildings into the portfolio of S IMMO is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2021).

The conditions over the last year were anything but easy, but we still successfully closed a number of acquisitions and added high quality office properties to our portfolio.”

The EuropaProperty SEE Real Estate Awards recognise the ongoing developments in the real estate markets and put the spotlight on outstanding projects in the region and on the achievements of the companies that are involved. Each year, the winners in the individual categories are selected by a jury of prominent experts.


Campus 6.2 and 6.3

The overall Campus 6 project consists of four buildings and is located in Center West, one of the three most important office sub-markets in the Romanian capital. Because of its proximity to the technical university, the location is especially important for IT companies. Direct access to the metro and nearby bus and tram stops also enhance the value of the location. The two A-class buildings each consist of 11 above-ground storeys plus two basement levels with 463 parking spaces. The project is pre-qualified for LEED Gold and WELL Silver.


The office complex was completed in 2007 and consists of a 22-storey, 79 metre office tower with a connected nine-storey low-rise building and has a total area of roughly 26,000 m², which is fully let out. The tenants include the Croatian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Energy, the pharmaceuticals conglomerate Bayer, and the financial auditors Deloitte. Zagrebtower is located in the eastern business district, which represents one of the most highly sought-after locations in Zagreb together with the central business district. The property offers excellent connections to the public transportation system, meets high sustainability standards and boasts a BREEAM Excellent certificate.
